How to: Change the internal source data range for a PivotTable.
Solution:
Select any cell in the PivotTable and select 'PivotTable...' from the 'Data' menu. Click 'Back' to display the appropriate dialog box and specify the new source data range. Click 'Next', then the 'Finish'.
NOTE: The following procedure applies only to PivotTables that are created using data from an Excel list.
To change the source data range for a PivotTable:
1) Select any cell in the PivotTable.
2) Select the 'Data' menu and select 'PivotTable...'. (The PivotTable Step 3 of 4 dialog box appears with the previous specifications.)
3) Click 'Back'. (The PivotTable Step 2 of 4 dialog box appears.)
4) Specify or select the new source data range that includes the additional rows or columns in the 'Range' box.

5) Click 'Next'. (The PivotTable Step 3 of 4 dialog box reappears.)
6) (Optional) Modify the design of the PivotTable to incorporate new fields.
7) Click 'Finish'.
